Hott Run Whitetails is located in the middle of Amish Country in beautiful Holmes County.  Our first deer, two doe fawns, were purchased in 1999 as a hobby.  Imagine our astonishment when we discovered just how big an industry deer farming was becoming. 

In 2005, all of our deer with the exception of one Thunderstorm doe were sold.  We then began select breeding through artificial insemination (A.I.) with bucks such as BigJake, High Tide, Silverstorm, Rocket, Superstar, Sundowner and Maxbo-Thicket.  We have been blessed with a 100% conception rate in our A.I. program.

My wife and daughters bottle feed all of our doe fawns.  Our goal is to have a healthy, calm herd.  We have a handling facility so that we can manage our deer with minimal stress.

We are also striving to get top genetics in our herd.
